Im blogging. Surprise. Surprise.
The main reason why I don't blog before is that the only things worth writing are the things that I don't want to know by the people I'm involved with. And it has been the same until now. But unlike most bloggers, I'm not starting my blog for the world to read. I just want to have an outlet to express my thoughts and my Starbucks diary just won't fit in.
Anyways, I just want to explain further on my blog name.
SWEET LIES.
There are several types of lies, some of which include: noble lies, white lies, misleading, exaggeration and jacose lies. I am guilty on some, although I must admit that I'm not a pretty good liar. Especially to those who know me better than myself, like my mom. Or my bestfriend.
So how does a lie becomes sweet?
Is it better than bitter reality?
Sweet lies are never good. A lie is still a lie. People resort to it because they fear the truth. Like when you betrayed someone and you're afraid of losing the friendship. When you know that the relationship you have with someone is not for keeps because something is missing. And how you convince yourself that you love him every second of the day and then look back and begin to realize than he's just isn't right.
Eventually, no matter how painful the truth is, we still have to deal with it and reality is much much better than some fabricated ideal of happiness.
And that's looking out of the box.
If you apply it into my life, well...
Let's just say that I'm not ready for harsh realities yet.
I chose to be blind.
